Expansion of Scientific Cooperation Between the Petroleum University of Technology and Universities in Uzbekistan

The Petroleum University of Technology is expanding its collaborations with universities in Uzbekistan, including Fergana Polytechnic University, New Uzbekistan University, and the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology. During visits to these institutions, both sides emphasized the importance of enhancing scientific, research, and educational cooperation.

One of the key outcomes of the visit was the signing of an official memorandum of understanding with Fergana Polytechnic University, along with agreements to implement joint projects, exchange faculty and students, and foster international collaboration. Plans were also made to launch dual-degree programs in engineering and management in partnership with other Uzbek universities.

In a meeting with the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Tashkent, support for expanding academic relations between the two countries was reaffirmed, and the idea of organizing familiarization tours to showcase the scientific capacities of Iranian universities was proposed.

This visit marks the beginning of a new chapter in academic and research cooperation between the Petroleum University of Technology and higher education institutions in Uzbekistan.
